Join Master Gardener Mike Peronto to learn about the impacts of our changing climate on lawns, flower beds, and vegetable growing. Find out how to make any yard more resilient!

This presentation is for homeowners who want to know what simple steps they can take in designing and maintaining their yard to battle climate change. Find out how owners of a typical suburban yard can optimize lawn care to preserve the environment, improve garden bed design to maximize the capture and storage of CO, and use vegetable gardening to relieve stress on food supply chains.

MIKE PERONTO has been a WSU Extension Master Gardener since 2017.  Last year, a group of Master Gardeners from across Washington came together to form a ’Special Interest Group’ in relation to Climate Change.  Mike leads that group.
