Join community members and library staff to read and discuss a selection of themed poems on the 1st Tuesday of every month. Poems can be shared ahead of time by email and physical copies will be provided for use during Poetry Club. We want to celebrate the art of Poetry and share the work of diverse voices our customers will find meaningful to them.
Material containing explicit language or possibly triggering/trauma-related subject matters will be presented with a courtesy warning, whenever possible.
As it is important that we maintain Intellectual Freedom in library spaces, a wide selection of poems will be presented (barring anything that would break library policy). Be aware of your personal boundaries and limits, and respect everyone’s right to engage with the art that they like- but do whatever you need to care for yourself.
Registration Required to receive poems before meeting.
