Curious about how to play Dungeons and Dragons or tabletop roleplaying in general? We'll go over some of the basic ideas of tabletop roleplaying games and exploring the new D&D rules.

Tabletop roleplaying games have been around for over 50 years and they've been getting even more popular, with TV shows and podcasts devoted to them. So what's all the fuss about?

In this series of programs, we'll be exploring how some paper, pencils, and oddly-shaped dice can open the door to cooperative storytelling, creative problem-solving, and exciting gameplay.

We will primarily be referring to the most popular roleplaying game of all time: Dungeons and Dragons. We will talk about its history and some of the changes that have come with the brand new 2024 rulebooks. We'll also talk about the great diversity of roleplaying games that have come out since Dungeons and Dragons hit the scene, and why one system might fit your fancy better than others.
