STEAM learning is all around us - even in games!
In STEAM for Kids: Game Lab, children explore games that challenge their minds, foster creativity and build STEAM skills like logic, math, storytelling and collaboration. Whether we’re playing strategy games like chess, diving into roleplay in Dungeons & Dragons or trying out hands-on challenges, this program encourages curiosity, social connection and brain-powered fun. Come ready to play, imagine and learn together!
Master of Putt Putt, presented by Guy Steele, brings nine holes of portable mini golf to your library for a hands‑on introduction to putting skills! Kids receive golf clubs, balls, and scorecards, then rotate through each hole at their own pace while learning how to keep score and navigate a variety of fun obstacles. This program offers a simple, active way for participants to practice coordination, patience, and friendly competition in a low‑pressure setting.
