Take inspiration from books celebrating parades and create your own entry in the Ozobot parade.
Get inspired by books about parades, including Balloons Over Broadway: The True Story of the Puppeteer of the Macy's Parade by Melissa Sweet. Participants will create a paper mini-parade entry carried through a parade route by an Ozobot.
This activity is inspired by one created by Ozobot Classroom. Our event will include a variety of books about different kinds of parades, opportunities for participants to share their own experiences with parades and celebrations, and engagement with picture books, art, and the culture of parades. Participants will be able to use a variety of craft materials to create their own miniature parade entry powered by a small robot. Drop-in any time during the event to participate.
