Masks required in library buildings (5 and older). Following Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department’s directive and the State of Washington’s order, the Pierce County Library Library System requires the public and staff, regardless of vaccination, to wear masks to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Children ages 2-4 are strongly encouraged to wear a mask per the Department of Health. Also, per public health directives, masks are required outdoors where physical distancing isn’t possible.
The event will be outdoors and might be in the sun, participants should prepare for being in the sun/the current weather. In the event of inclement weather (excessive heat, smoke, rain, etc. the event will be cancelled, note there is a virtual option for this program on Thursdays at 4pm.)
