Experts at Tacomaprobono’s Housing Justice Project and Pierce County Human Services will answer legal questions and provide help applying for rental/utility assistance programs.

Do you have questions about eviction? Do you need help with past due rent or utilities because of COVID-19? This drop-in Housing Help clinic is designed for you.

Talk with staff from Tacomaprobono and Pierce County Human Services, to get answers to your basic questions about eviction prevention related to COVID-19, legal protections for tenants, the Eviction Moratorium, and the Eviction Resolution Program, or apply for rental/utility assistance on-site. Tacomaprobono will also be able help determine if you’re eligible for 1:1 assistance through their legal clinics, and complete that intake process.

Please register in advance to help us get an idea of how many attendees to expect.

Please note:

Masks are required in library buildings (5 and older). Following Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department’s directive and the State of Washington’s order, the Pierce County Library Library System requires the public and staff, regardless of vaccination, to wear masks to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Children ages 2-4 are strongly encouraged to wear a mask per the Department of Health.
