Harvesting Rain

As Close as the Nearest Downspout @ Gateway Park

Anyone with a roof on Earth can harvest rain water. Liberate your down spout today and harvest the rain!

One inch of rainfall on a 1,000-foot surface will yield approximately 500 gallons of soft, untreated rain water. It’s a huge source of water as close as your nearest downspout.

This event will be held at Gateway Park at 10405 WA-302, Gig Harbor, WA 98329

Participants are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets to sit on.

Safety Precautions

In the event of inclement weather (excessive heat, smoke, rain, etc.) the event will be cancelled.

The event will be outdoors. Participants should prepare for being in the sun or the current weather.
